About Bob Block
To know Bob Block was to know compassion, kindness, and humor embodied in one soul. He was a selfless and caring person who made friends everywhere he went in part because of his charming demeanor, but mostly because of his infectious laugh. With a quick joke or movie one-liner for every conversation, Bob lived each day with a smile on his face.
In 2017, Bob was diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer. He fought like a badass for 3 and a half years, and spent this time making memories with the people he loved most - his family.
We now honor his memory in the only way he would want us to - with a bar crawl during his birthday weekend, raising money for the American Cancer Society to hopefully help others fight and win their own battles. What started as an impromptu way to spend Bob's birthday quickly became a global celebration. We have people from all over the country, and even internationally, crawl with us each year. So, whether you are joining us in Lancaster or hosting your own crawl for Bob in your city, we are happy you're here. Cheers!
Father. friend. Life of the party.
